Keltic Song

Allan Rae is a prolific Canadian composer who adds Celtic song to the series of Songs of the World. This series, edited by Andre de Quadros, seeks to disseminate high quality choral music from the world's many musical traditions. The text for this piece contains "vowel textures" thatwere created by the composer from fragments of fairy mythology and old Gaelic phrases. An excellent choice for high school or college/univ. ensembles!
